Cooperage Assistants · No. 1

Meet your Email Assistant.

Right now, if someone emails you and you get busy, it might sit for days before you reply. Your Email Assistant watches for that and has a reply ready to go, in your own voice, before it's too late. You just say yes.

The Cooperage Assistants

Four ways to stop things slipping through the cracks. Pick where to start.

What it actually does

It never sends anything. It just makes sure nothing gets forgotten.

Every day, it quietly checks the inbox you choose. If a real person emailed and nobody's replied after a couple of days, it writes a draft reply and saves it for you to look at. You read it, you fix anything you want, you hit send. Or you delete it. Either way, nothing goes out without you.

AI is cheap. Bad decisions are not.

How it works

Three steps. Running the same day.

1

Answer a few questions

About 3 minutes. Which inbox to watch, how you like to sound, and anything it should stay away from.

2

Quick call together

15 minutes. We go over your answers side by side. Microsoft 365 connects directly, the same way you'd let any app onto your account. Gmail works through a simple forwarding setup, no passwords shared.

3

It starts working

Same day. It checks your inbox daily and leaves drafts waiting for your okay. Nothing sends on its own, ever.

The plain-English version

No jargon. Here's exactly what's happening.

🖥️ Where it lives

Your assistant runs on its own dedicated computer that we manage, not on your laptop or phone. It never slows your computer down and it's working around the clock, even when your machine is off.

🔑 You keep your keys

We never see or store your password. Microsoft 365 access is a grant you can shut off with one click from your own account settings. Gmail works by forwarding, so we only ever see what you send us. Nothing is installed on your computer.

📈 Gets smarter every week

It pays attention to the edits you make to its drafts and adjusts. The more you use it, the closer its drafts get to sounding exactly like you.

📬 Skill Notes, every two weeks

A short, plain-English email every couple weeks telling you what it's picked up and improved. It'll also point out patterns worth automating next, like "you keep manually chasing the same 3 vendors" so you know what to add, if and when you want it.

The guardrails

It can't do anything you haven't approved.

This is built for business owners, not engineers. The whole point is that nothing risky can happen by accident.

  • It never sends an email on its own. Every reply waits for your yes.
  • It never touches pricing, contracts, refunds, or anything you flag as off-limits.
  • It never spends money, changes settings, or deletes anything in your inbox.
  • We never see or store your password, and you can revoke access in one click.
  • If anything looks off, it stops and tells you rather than guessing.
This is a starting point, not the finish line

Email Assistant does one job, on purpose. That's how it earns trust to do more.

It starts small so you can see exactly what it does before anything bigger comes into play. Once it's running, your Skill Notes will start surfacing real patterns from your own inbox, like leads going cold or the same question coming up every week, and suggest which of the other Cooperage Assistants would actually help, based on your working style. Nothing gets added without you saying go.

What it costs

Free for the first month. One flat fee after, if it earns it.

The first month costs nothing and includes the setup. If it catches money, one flat monthly fee keeps it running and turns on the other assistants, with no per-tool pricing and no usage meter. If it catches nothing, you owe nothing and it stops.

Common questions

Things people ask before they set it up.

Do I need to know anything about AI or computers?

No. This is built for business owners, not engineers. If you can fill out a form and hop on a 15-minute call, you can set this up.

What's a VPS, and why does my assistant need one?

It's just a dedicated computer we manage on your behalf, running your assistant around the clock. Think of it as renting a small, always-on office for your assistant to work in, separate from your own laptop.

Do you see my emails or store my data?

Your assistant reads what it needs to do its job, the same way any email app does, but we don't keep a copy of your inbox anywhere. We never see or store your password, and you can revoke access anytime from your own Google or Microsoft account.

What if it drafts something wrong?

You just edit or delete the draft. Nothing sends without you clicking send. And it actually gets better from those edits, so it happens less over time.

How much does it cost?

We'll go over pricing on the setup call once we know your inbox volume, but it starts as a simple monthly fee with no surprise charges. Ask on the call, or email hi@cooperage.works.

Can I turn it off?

Anytime, with one click, from your own Google or Microsoft account settings. There's nothing installed on your computer to uninstall.

Will you just start adding more automations without asking?

No. Email Assistant only does the one job described here. Your Skill Notes may point out a pattern worth automating next, like leads going cold or a question that keeps coming up, but nothing new ever gets set up without a separate conversation and your okay first.

Let's get yours running

A few quick questions, about 3 minutes.

What's your business name?

Just so we can label things correctly on our end.

Best name and email for the setup call?

We'll go over your answers together before this goes live.

Which inbox should it watch?

The address that gets customer emails you sometimes let slip.

How long should an email sit before it's flagged?

e.g. "if no one replies within 2 business days, draft a follow-up."

What should it leave alone?

Select all that apply

Anything the assistant should never flag or touch.

How should it sound like you?

Select all that apply

This isn't a one-time setting. It keeps learning and getting closer to your real voice over time.

Anything this should never do?

Select all that apply

This always drafts for your approval, never sends on its own, but tell us any hard lines anyway.

How do you want to hear how it's doing?

Select all that apply

It gets smarter every week it runs. Pick how you'd like that progress reported to you (Skill Notes go out every two weeks by default).
